SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is alarmed with regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high range SRD of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area each day. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to empower the servicing of all customers and raise usage here of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
